Welcome to Maywood Hall & Garden! This Trophy location sits right at the edge of Downtown Raleigh on Maywood Avenue, just a few doors down from Trophy's production facility and taproom. This location is a full event venue space.

Maywood Hall & Garden is a bright, open, and versatile indoor/outdoor venue that's entirely customizable, and can accommodate groups from 50 to 200 people inside. Looking for a space to make your own? We'd love to help you build the event of your dreams.


The Venue is 2700 sq ft of space featuring dimmable string lighting hung overhead, large windows with beautiful natural light, and a custom built mobile bar pouring the freshest beer in Raleigh. The Lawn adds 4500 sq ft of outdoor space perfect for your Wedding Ceremony or a friendly game of cornhole.


Guests also have access to a small suite off the side of the venue space which can be used as a bridal suite, green room, or lounge.


We include linens, a/v access, as well as a variety of furniture with the venue such as round and rectangular dining tables, wooden cross back chairs, and tall cocktail tables.

We have hosted everything from Wedding Days to Birthday Parties, Festivals to Galas, Seminars to Live Podcast Recordings, and Networking Events to Holiday Parties.

  • What type of events do you host?

    We host a bit of everything!


    From rehearsal dinners, welcome parties, and weddings (and elopements!) to networking events, holiday parties, and more unique things like non-profit gatherings and your comapnies very own oktoberfest celebration, as well as birthdays, showers, and retirements.

  • How many guests can you host?

    We have options for groups of 30 to 200!


    What can work for you will depend on whether you are looking for a seated dinner versus a standing and mingling-style event. 


    We include furniture and chairs for up to 120 as a starting kit but we have many wonderful vendor partners in the area we can work with on your behalf that carry options for additional furniture as needed.


    If you'd like to extend your options for seating even more guests we recommend tenting the lawn space to accomodate higher headcounts!


    Fully Standing Reception: 200 guests

    Theater Style: 200 guests

    Seated Dinner: 170 guests

    Seated Dinner with Dance Floor/Stage/Photo Booth: 150 guests 

  • What kind of fees exist?

    We have a Venue Fee paid to book the space itself as well as a Food and Beverage minimum spend requirement that you can meet through your bar package and catering selections. Staff are paid through a gratuity on food and beverages and the events team is paid through a service fee.

  • Is the venue accessible to guests with different levels of mobility?

    This space is all one level and is fully accessible.

  • Is there A/V access?

    Yes! The building has free guest wifi.


    We have a wireless microphone available and bluetooth connection to our speakers for music.


    We always recommend testing out your devices and playlist ahead of time to ensure easy connections,

  • Where should guests park?

    The closest option to our building is the parking lot directly behind us which is available on weekdays after 5:30pm and anytime on weekends! 


    We are also surrounded by close options for street parking - just be sure to check the signs on that street for any important information on time or permit requirements.
