Built at the turn of the 19th century, this historic building has been a part of the Trophy family for over a decade. Our Downtown Raleigh event venue and distillery serves house-crafted spirits, our favorite Trophy Beers, and catering from Trophy Brewing Company. From exposed brick walls to a custom hammered copper still, we have utilized a mix of new and old and welcome you to make this warm space yours.

While flying by the seat of your pants is fun when you're out on a Friday night, we know you planners are eager to add Young Hearts to your list of options. To make it easier to pitch our gorgeous venue to your fiancee, mother-in-law, boss, or best friend, we've created a couple of handy downloads. The Whole Package

Young Hearts is an incredibly adaptable, elegant, full-service event venue:

Indoor/Outdoor Paradise 

The beautiful roof deck features a garden wall maintained by Good Dirt, a covered roof with space heaters and fans for temperature control, and offers one of the few rooftop views of Downtown Raleigh.

Flexible Space

We have different space combinations for hosting a gathering of 50 or the party of the decade with 200 people. Feel free to swing by for a visit—we'd be happy to show you around.

Delightful Menus

Our catering menu features from-scratch dishes using local and ethically sourced ingredients. We put time and care into every dish that leaves our kitchen.

House-Distilled Spirits

This location provides the exclusive offering of our house distilled spirits, made right here in the building in our custom copper still featured in the entrance. 

  • What type of events do you host?

    We host a bit of everything!

    From Weddings, rehearsals, networking, holiday parties, birthdays, showers, business dinners, and more. Have a unique event you'd love to host with us? Just reach out!

  • Do you host weddings?

    Yes! We are able to host Ceremonies and Receptions onsite. We do require that all onsite weddings have a Coordinator on-site throughout the entirety of the event to ensure you have someone taking care of your needs that day.

  • How many guests can you host?

    We have options good for groups of 50 to 300! What can work for you will depend on if you are looking for a seated dinner versus a standing and mingling style event.

  • What kind of fees exist?

    We have a Venue Fee paid to book the space itself as well as a Food and Beverage minimum spend requirement that you can meet through your bar package and catering selections. 

  • What type of bar packages are available?

    We provide a full range of options from our own Young Hearts spirits and Trophy beer, as well as a variety of wine by the glass and other liquors. We offer several package tiers and a variety of add-ons!

  • How long do we have the room?

    Events start with a 4-hour slot of their choice within the venue's hours. We recommend dedicating 3 hours toward the event and 30 minutes before and after for any decorating/cleanup of that decor.

  • Is the venue accessible to guests with different levels of mobility?

    The space does offer limited accessibility.

    The Main floor is accessible.

    The Mezzanine loft is accessible only by stairs. The Upstairs bar is accessible by chair lift or stairs.

    The Rooftop is only accessible by stairs.

  • Is there A/V access?

    Yes! The building has free guest wifi.

    We have a wireless microphone available. Each space offers different access including the ability to play your own music and TVs to cast to.

  • Where should guests park?

    Downtown Raleigh is full of parking options including decks, street parking, and pay lots.


    The closest option to our building is the Moore Square Parking Deck, it is operated by the City and they maintain information on rates and hours on their website!
